Communal areas in Mullaghboy Private Nursing Home
The original house has been adapted and extended to provide accommodation for 32 Residents and there are a variety of communal areas which residents are actively encouraged to make full use of throughout the day. These areas feature modern facilities and equipment and have been designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our Residents.
Communal areas
There are two lounge areas situated at the front of the building both of which enjoy views over the sea and the Copeland Islands.
The main lounge is a hub of activity where residents can socialise, watch television or take part in the daily activities on offer.
The small lounge is much more intimate and is ideal for receiving visitors, or just enjoying the views.
To the rear of the property is a large conservatory where Residents can relax watching television or doing crafts and hobbies.
Also to the rear is an enclosed courtyard which provides a sheltered haven in summer for those who like to sit outside.
Bedrooms
The home has a variety of shared and single rooms, some of which have the additional convenience of an en-suite W/C.
Each room is tastefully decorated however we actively encourage our residents to make the room their own by adding their personal effects such as a favourite chair, a cabinet or pictures to give their room a feeling of a “home from home”.
Toilet and bathroom facilities are located throughout the home.
WI-FI
WI-FI is available in all the bedrooms and communal areas throughout the Home.
